The number of women in STEM is increasing in the East, while the West is still struggling. What lessons can be learned and how do we implement them in Austin and beyond? In this panel discussion, we will be speaking to women from the US and from former Eastern Bloc countries about their experiences from early education through current professional experience to discover both similarities and differences that we can learn from to encourage more women and girls to follow the path of careers STEM in the future.
