While most investors and many Founders are familiar with social impact investing as a term, they seldom hear first-hand about the actual impact that their invest can have on the Founders, their businesses and the people and causes who benefit from their investment. We want to use this event to encourage more investors to look beyond tech and explore social impact investing and its long-term benefits.  We also want to encourage other Founders and those with start-up ideas to incorporate a social impact component into their business plans.
