Twenty-five years ago, India embarked on a journey of economic liberalization, opening its doors to globalization and market forces. We, and the rest of the world, have watched as the investment and trade regime introduced in 1991 raised economic growth, increased consumer choice, and reduced poverty significantly. By 2030 India is projected to be the world's third largest middle consumer market. Join us along with City of Austin to explore new and current relatioships between Texas and India with local business, academic and government leaders who have just returned from another economic development mission there.
