Treeline Associates
Michael Palmer is the founder and President of Treeline Associates. Treeline is an association management and accounting services company, a member of the prestigious Association Management Institute and currently celebrating its 20th year. Treeline has offices in both the US and Canada. Michael has been successful in both the private sector and in non-profit organizations. A seasoned veteran in the non-profit sector, he has worked with chapter, national and international professional and trade associations. He has served as the key staff officer for the Student & Youth Travel Association, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Detroit Chapter and the Travel and Tourism Research Association. He has served as the Managing Director for Govern For Impact (formerly International Policy Governance Association) since 2014.

Michael served as a senior consultant and conference manager for the World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He also provided startup leadership to two consortiums, one 501(c)(6), one 501(c)(3) charity and a number of for profit business. He has provided strategic planning services to 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6), and for-profit companies. Michael has helped to start a social entrepreneurial business as a wholly-owned subsidiary of a non-profit organization.

Michael is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He has served on two leadership committees in ASAE and two committees for the Association Management Company Institute. He has a B.A. from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. In 2007, Michael received an Outstanding Alumni Service Award from Michigan State University for his work in creating and funding a travel research institute.
